Laric was born in Greyhawk, the son of a carpenter. His life before his eighteenth year was quite normal, but in that year, his father saved the Greyhawk Lord-Nerof Gasul, but died doing so. In honor to him Nerof Gasul posthumously granted those of his line Noble title Laric was his eldest son. He was hurriedly trained in all the finer things-ettiquette, the arts, etc... At the end of that year he had to go out into the world and prove himself a man worthy to be one of Greyhawks Knights. He soon met up with Marcus Neidheart and Tonni (detailed elsewhere), and they decided to travel together. Together with Balthazar and Alorna, they formed the core of an adventuring group that endured...well..longer than most.
